Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London in London, is an British and Canadian actor from Canada and Britain. She is most famous as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female actor. She reprised the role in the film Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her main roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall's role in the HBO television show Sex & the City is her most memorable role. The part of Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was a pivotal event in her career. Born in Sweden, Skane was a model before beginning her acting profession. She eventually won the Miss Sweden contest. She then moved to America and started playing in many films. In the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as a Venusian. Soon after, her appearance in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising newcomer.
